Chocolates, like all cichlids, are dependent on temperament of the fish. As a general rule, they are mellow fish, I've been keeping them for 10+ years in at least one tank. In that size they should do well with the angelfish, however I would probably just get one, a pair might not be a...

Thanks...the 2 fx6 and 2262 are doing just fine on it.

Well, going to need two more 48" current led lights to get the light coverage I want. Here is a pic with lights on...little murky after squeezing my ac110 spunges in the water column to help seed bacteria.

Added the tiger barbs and 1 yellow Nape Chocolate for now. Used old bio of course to give a jump start. Will slowly add rest over next week or two. I have to admit....seeing 10+ tiger barbs going around makes them seem very very small and few in this tank lol
