Depends on the fish. Gulpers like that kind of feeding, but many other fish (goldies) find it quite fatal. Unicorns Can't be overfed :)

No clue 'bout the rays, but pacus should be fine in the 260 for a couple years, correct me if i'm wrong. TAKE NOTE: If pacus get spooked, MASSIVE damage can be caused to a tank, some reinforcement is reccomended in the 260. Same goes for Giant gouramis, though you might have a different variety.

Only VERY large water changes (75% daily) will damage your bacteria bed.

Realistic: 150 gallon with my common pleco and SA fish like larger pims and cichlids Unreal: 2000 gallon aquarium with a monster horde of common plecos, pacu and an adonis pleco Real (eventually) 2000 gallon with RTC and adonis pleco. Real (eventually) Pbass tank with Adonis pleco

For quite a while a 260 will suffice, but Pacus can potentially reach 26" and are a very active fish. Slowly upgrade afterwards, When in a 350+ gallon tank, 2 pacus can have tankmates

My 1 1/2 year old scissortail rasbora. The other 2 died in the 10 gallon and the 7 I bought as tankmates in the 55 periodically randomly died off. I only have 2 now.

How about a betta? GTs or a close relative.
