Hey now. *I* never said it was a red tail... I was just told that's what it was...

    Snakes on pinkies.

I don't recommend it unless you really, really know your surroundings... but my two snakes, at least in the summer, eat what the cats kill. Now, I say you have to know your surroundings because rodents could be poisoned, which isn't good for the snakes. But I live pretty much surrounded by cow...

    Leo's and Earwigs

It was more of a "Eww, you caught an earwig. Throw it in for the gecko" rather than using them as a steady source of feeders. Personally, I've never noticed a smell on them, though... course, I don't sniff them...

    Leo's and Earwigs

Well, she's already eaten a few, with no ill effects that I've witnessed, but it's better to ask: any issues with Leopard Geckos eating earwigs?

    Blue Lobster Psychopath!

I too echo that the oscar's will get him, especially when he molts. As for what fish will it take... the common pleco might endure. The eel, depending on how strong it is. Oscar's are in no danger. The rest are fast food.

New Corn... now calling it Corn Rescue

Up by Vernon River. And if you work at Critters, you probably know me (and Passiontiger) since we get our mice there. As to the BS: the teenager in the house who "owned" the snake used to work at Pets Unlimited...

New Corn... now calling it Corn Rescue

Passion is forcing me to post that she's feeling redeemed, because she was right that it was a snow, and I was wrong about it being just an albino. That having posted such, I will be going to my room without supper.

New Corn... now calling it Corn Rescue

    - been a while since I've posted... still read, things have been hectic with the 4th baby. Anyways.... A 'too good to be true' classified went up: 4 year old corn snake with cracked 33g, undertank heater, and a few in-tank accessories. Passiontiger brought it home last night. The ad, and...

    Kingsnake tail problem

The ongoing drama of my no-longer-escaped kingsnake, her encounter with the cat, and the road to recovery. At least she's eating now. But, we have a problem with the last inch of her tail, which was damaged by the cat with tail envy (the cat is a manx, hence no tail) She just shed last week as...

    Kingsnake not eating

Was a mouse he got on his own, don't know if it was live or if it stole a cat kill. If it was poison, that's a pretty long-distance mouse, I can guarantee no mouse poison for at least a half a mile in any direction.

How having a lot of reptiles can get you arrested (Then released)

So, what you're saying, is that to make a successful grow-op and not get caught, I should keep reptiles on a ground-floor room, and a grow-op in the basement right underneath it. So, when the cops show up, I show them the herps, and get off scot free? :screwy:

    Kingsnake not eating

Recaptured my king snake way back on he 14th, injured by the cat (for those of you who missed the thread). Had him in a 1 gallon to heal for a few days, where he regurgitated a mouse. Put him in his new 20g on the 18th. Now he won't eat. But he drinks like a fish. Any thoughts/worries?

    Injured King Snake

Temptation is very active today, and the deep cut has sealed itself... have look hard to find where it is... still tender though. Also found that he was doing the cats' job, regurgitated a mouse overnight. Seems a turf war between cat and snake cause the fight. And Lat... Grandview (up past...
