J. Transciptus is a small Tang that should work in tank that size, n. lelupi might be another option, I kept a breeding pair in a 29 before. But like with anything else, you start small and end up going bigger and bigger as you want to add more species. My two cents.

I just bought 2 bags of the color quartz black today (T Grade) near Chicago. It was only $18.75 per 50lbs. I would definately look for it near you, it is very affordable, and it is almost the exact consistency of a crushed coral I used in my 55 like 8 years ago for Africans.

If you google 3m's website, they have a search engine to find a local distributor of color quartz. It should cost around $20 for a 50 lb bag.
