yes the simple approach may work but they spook easily. Usually when one darts, it sets of a series of 3-4 to do the same. With the water level lower than usual, I'm pretty sure they'll be darting around even before the net goes in. Just not that confident and don't want to risk loosing any...

haha shows how much i know about arrows. i thought the green arorws had similar shape but a different color. there's a snow arrow selling in a LFS similar body shape and color. asking 10k USD. the channa will start with the smallest fish, or the fish that are timid and skiddish, then go down...

pattern and color changes with age/size/mood but you are correct some are blk and white and others are the blue hue. like the blk and white ones a lot.

Im not sure either, but rememebr a post while back, guy had a big one that died of black fin. it was labeled as platinum. similar black and white scheme versus blue and silver.
