Gymnogeophagus meridionalis
Gymnos are pretty easy to take care of if you keep up on water changes and let them have a cool down period in the winter. Honestly 5 to 6 may be pushing it for a 40g but you can thin them as they mature. Try searching G. ex-meridionalis for more info.- abarilot
