yeh maybe its a bee...why not buy cichlids from a reputable breeder? that way you know what your getting. most will sell mbuna fry for a few dollars each and usually top quality. IMO i can not stand seeing hybrid africans. no point in it. they have evolved over millions of years to be the way...

many types of frontosa. id find out what type he has before buying. if he cant tell you then i would leave it. most fish stores will sell very inbred burundi type frontosa. also adult frontosa will require a 6' tank. they also tend to be kinda chill so aggressive tank mates like peacocks, mbuna...
