Nice FTS's everyone. Here I made a couple picture collages and some final shots of my 450 gallon before I sold her. Went through a lot of stock changes in the past 3 years. Tank and fish will be missed:(. I do have a bigger monster tank waiting to be set up. :) It's sitting in storage for now...

I totally agree on taking a huge loss on re selling monster tank set ups. My 450 gallon 8'x3'x2.5' glass tank system cost me over $7000 new for everything. Had a lot of equipment. The tank alone was 3 years old and all the equipment was 1 year old and I ended up selling it for $2800 delivered...

I use the ipad2 and its great. I agree with the blackberry playbook being the worse. My brother has one and its not smooth and it lags...but it is much cheaper then most tablets out there. U pay for what u get with the playbook... Sent from my iPad using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

I use to run 1L of purigen in a reactor for my 450 gallon setup. I don't think it removes nitrates alone but I think it does help reduce it as purigen absorbs all the toxins ammonia in the tank from uneaten foods, over feeding etc, fish poop etc. With out using it my tank would reach 80-100ppm...

Well u have to respect your parents point of view as it's their house. Running a monster tank isn't cheap and it can cause damage to the house in the long run. Even if a indoor pond is cheap to set up but cost of running it can cost a lot and u'll have humidity issues especially from a open top...

My dad loves it as he was into koi and fancy goldfish back then. He also goes fishing alot too. He's just shocked how much it costs to run and how much maintenance has to be done to it (3 hrs each week on a 450 gallon tank). I don't live with my parents no more but my dad will even be more...

Yup u fully exaggerated the size of that RTC and the tank. I knew right away by looking at that exit sign and by the tiles on the ground (each tile measures 12") so I had to call u out :bs: In my eyes that RTC would be 26"-27" max as that exit sign with the 2 square lights on each side only...
