Description:
It's been quite a few years since I have set up a tank due to be being active duty army. I...
Its a t5ho compact light that came with the tank and there's no dirt, its just ceramic plant substrate I picked up at the store.
Much appreciated. I kinda got an algae bloom goin on atm and I want to pick up a nerite or an otto to take care of it.
Nah no play sand for me.
The pic of the cory was when I first set up the tank. I had 5 of them and a pair of rams but traded them off for Amano shrimp, which in turn I traded those off for my smaller less energetic smaller shrimp species. My tank is 8 gallons.
I replaced my Amanos due to how energetic they were. I loved them as a starter shrimp but They get a bit too big for my little 8g, so I decided to go to a smaller size shrimp. I have Cherries, Wild type cherries and Tigers.
I got these discus from Kenny Cheung. Super nice guy, amazing fish as well.
After a couple weeks of water changes and a high protein diet. They get along amazingly well with my previous trio of WC Browns.
Haha no, I picked up these before I left for my duty station.
I did just order 5 more captive bred discus for my wife so they should be arriving sometime next week after the quarantine process is done.
I did some re planting and added a few new plants, removed my rams and added in some Amano shrimps. I dont have a fts but I snapped a few of the shrimp. Ill grab a tank shot later.
I didn't know whether to post here or in the other thread lol, so here are a couple of my tanks that I took FTS pics of. 8g, 72g 75g. I have more tanks but a lack of pics for them.
