How rare are different species of Pbass in the wild?

+1 on that Matt Something Rare that you "might" get from a wild caught is different DNA that "could" result in better colors. Other then that, what you mostly get from wild caught fish is personality, often times wild caught fishes have seen some **** in their lives. Making them more aggressive...

The water must be really Hard! I'm guessing the pbass doesn't like it too much and my guess as to why the slow growth.

    Fire Red Temensis

Every captive kept temensis I've seen so far always turns gray and not green with a fire like red belly. Was wondering if any on here has been able to rise one to look like a wild caught one. If so, please post pictures and info on how you did so.

PH that peacock bass can tolerate?

Well yeah the fish might not die but its going to be irritated as hell. Maybe if you know the collection point and the spot is somewhat near brackish water.

PH that peacock bass can tolerate?

I'd say don't do it because considering that the kel is wild caught, its going to be stressed out like hell. Even if you slowly raised it. I think you'd have a better chance with a captive bred. Save yourself the worry.

    Cichla in Biotope

    Armatus - Wisconsin - Pick up only - $80

Yeah and a very cool fish, I'd keep him if I had a big enough tank for him and a fish stock I raised from fry. I got this guy at this size and don't like going through with throwing in other fishes to see how compatible they are with each other.
