Okay, I posted pics. Not the best and I still can't tell what kind of fish they are, but they are eating and pooping and have grown noticably in 2 days. Starting to think the little guys might make it. Any input appreciated, will post more "baby pics" in a couple of days.

I was told by a friend not to buy my fish from Petsmart, K-mart, Walmart or any other retail chain store. Is there a reason for this? Pretty much all the fish in my aquarium are from petsmart and are healthy and happy as far as I can tell. Where should I buy my fish from?

I live in Ny and it gets cold. I've never heated my pond, but we have a couple of 3" pvc pipes going to bottom to make sure gas can get out and koi have been fine. I have also had my black moors survive the winter in my pond.
