Yes they do, we might have two or three if any make it out of a batch. It is allot of fun to watch, one danio dived in to newly free swimming fry, the pairents attack it and chase it away and the other 6 danios dive in and eat as many as possible untill one of the cons notice and chasr them...

Nope..they are commonly called Ornate bushfish. they are related to leaf fish...kinda like an African betta. Not my image but here is what they look like...tiny monsters i breed betta simplex and betta albimarginata( avatar pic) both mouth brooders.
