    Carpintis ate bristlenose catfish.

they can cause a bit of problems..... if they have done what bristlenose do best, they would have lodged themselves internally with their pectoral fins. best thing you can do is just wait until your carpintis comes around hey may do, or may have internal injuries that could or could not heal hth

    suggestions please!!!

keep choping and changing.... if you can afford it it has saved me from leaving the hobby more times than i care to mention. even if it would be going from keeping south americans then to centrals it is still good to do. a bit of change never killed anybody (in the aquarium hoby at least....)...

My new adittion to the stable

My opinion is unswayed by your many excuses. Even if not dyed the colouration is blotchy and undesireable. Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

My new adittion to the stable

I disagree on the vieja body part. Viejas get a stunningbody shape when matured which is un parralled by any other. The inconsistance in the colour leads me to belive that is had been dyed. I hope not but i fear it has been dyed Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

Pair of Geos for 60 gallon

personally i think that tank is not really ready for any species of geophagus. the name geophagus in latin translating into 'earth-eater' says a million words. I would change over to a sand substrate while you are still cycling, i would also invest in some smaller decor that will allow for...

Life after "Wet pet" Stocking help

sorry to hear. personally in a 125 i would go for some fish from the geophagus species, my favourites will either be the 'red head tapajos' or the 'rio pindare'. they are very underrated and can be kept with some smaller corys and other mildly placid centeral/south americans. dont be...

    NEW FEMALE FADER

well if you know the fish's parentage, and the parentage doesnt make it kamfa, then isnt that quite a definative point? The fish that is defined as a 'kamfa' is shown to have very strong paraneetroplus/vieja blood and shows many of the viejas characteristics. this will be shown in a stockier...

ID my Flowerhorn , please !

rbk, kamfa all along those lines it appears to have a strong line of Vieja blood in it, which in my eyes is great news! without knowing the fish's full parentage there is no knowing what colour it might go, thats the fun part my friend you get to watch the fish grow up and change right...
