Are they the standard aqueon glass lids?

Of course I was at the family's house yesterday and didn't snap a pic. It doesn't look like a normal set of glass tops would fit

What type of tops can I use? There's nowhere to put a glass top as there's no plastic brace. That's my main question

So I have a 125 that was given to me years ago, it's 1/2" thick glass with 3 glass braces on top of the glass with no frame. Each brace is easily 1' wide, attached with silicone directly to the glass tank. Has anyone ever seen this before? I've kept the tank at my parents house for years and...

My biggest guy as an F2 was about 4-5" and beefy, just not tall bodied. Beastly alpha male

My initial thoughts were a mix with a crypto of some sort. He's pretty beefy for his size and was unintimidated by my bigger red hooks and sun catfish who are twice his size.

Update - from May to now, minimal growth on these guys, maybe 1/2" on most (over the course of 3 months), mostly girth on the biggest of the bunch. This is with feedings about 5x a week (I feed less than once a day for the sake of water changes and for their lifespans), 75% water changes weekly...

Hrps, sajica, spilurus, all should be good with them, maybe even cutteri

In my experience, silver dollars are FAR more skittish than red hooks. I've had silver dollars twice in my life (both in 90 gallon tanks), and they were EXTREMELY skittish, even with giant danios in the tank to bring them out. Meanwhile, my red hooks are very calm, and rarely ever freak out...

Tiger barbs are a more readily available alternative to exodons too, my group feed like piranhas and are super cheap. Only con is that they tend to pick off the weak ones in the shoal every few months.

Mine have them too - I've read that males get them, and females don't? But I could be wrong. It just shows they're maturing.
