The other cichlids are passive and seem to have no interest in the oscar whatsoever. He doesn't hide anymore (except when I use the gravel vacuum) and he seems to be fine with his cichlid companions. The only problem i ever had was that he got aggressive towards my dempsey when I first got him.

hello, I just started my 55 gallon reef saltwater tank and i have a pistol shrimp in with some clown fish and damsels. I was wondering what types of invertebrate could be housed with him ( crab, shrimp, starfish, etc ). I am new to saltwater so any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the info everybody. I decided to get a Blue ahli, IT's getting along great with everybody! I also decided to feed it my convict fry ( he/she is in a seperate tank) once every 2 months so my new cichlid can get the nutrition it needs.
