i use to have one for about 2yrs that grew to about 6" it grew real slow only about 2 inches in those 2 yrs. i had it with a 9" four lined pim, a silver dollar, and a 12" oscar. the osar would try to bully the pim & silver dollar, but seemed to be buddies with my sun cat.

Asian red tils are suppose to be like the meanest or one of the meanest freshwater fish, they'll bite chunks outta fish too big for them to swallow...

i would feed mine shrimp pellets, feeders, worms, crickets, bugs, and i would hand feed it ham :P

ive been told before when i get stabbed by a catfish's fin when fishing that the slime of the catfish helps ease the pain. ive tried it and it works, but other than the pain you shouldnt worry.... :chillpill:
