Hikari has few sinking pallets. I mix half Hikari half NLS.. they seem to enjoy both.

I use combination of NLS and Hikari Bio Gold+ and occasional FBW and my fastaes love them but more often than not, water quality will bring out their colors.

Check the heater. If your heater is made out of glass, sometimes glass breaks and leak the electricity out to the water. Hope that helps.
