    GIANT gouramis

Interesting! I wonder if as a species they are more receptive to protein when they are trying to grow to a point that they are no longer easy prey in the wild? It's cool that even with a full on vegetarian diet that he has gotten that thick! Do you ever feed Charlie aquatic plants or just...

    GIANT gouramis

That is some awesome growth in just 3 years! What has her diet been like? Does she seem to have slowed significantly in her length growth but gotten thicker? How "wide" would you say that she is?

    Nile tilapia

There are no signs of breeding coloration on the fish that you posted above. The males throat and belly will turn red/pink, the top of the...

Has Anyone Brought Fish In Directly From Africa?

Thanks, I was looking at possibly bringing in captive bred specimens so I'd still need to talk to the Fish and Wildlife guys to make sure that all is fine with them.

Has Anyone Brought Fish In Directly From Africa?

I'm not talking that you got them from a dealer/distributor in the US, but literally having them shipped to you from Africa to the US? I'm wondering what this might entail and what kind of price would be associated with doing this?
