WHAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!? PICS ASAP!!!!!!

Just a note. For those who wants to wait around for pictures to be posted before committing it maybe too late as I'm sure it's first come first serve.

If Wes says it's the real deal than it's only his credibility that is on the line ;). I'm sure he's had or kept this species before so he can identify 100%.

I agree for most a picture should be seen before purchasing. However there are those exceptions with the ones that know what they are talking about.

Just something to ponder while people wait for pictures.

Thanks R1 for the update.

I already got a handful of requests for it.

From personal experience:

I raised one from 3" to 12" in about 1 years time. I have pictures of the old one somewhere on the net. Now the owner is DonH, a member around as well.

They develop a row of teeth on the lips, as they grow bigger, so do the teeth. When young, they look like a regular gouramy with some faint stripes on the body and a black spot towards the back.

They'll eat anything like any other gouramy, not hard to keep. they can be kept with all kinds of other fish as well.

I'll net them out and take a picture in a little bit, here is a picture of my big one.

Their max size is probably....hmm. I don't know :) they've not been in the hobby much at all, for anyone to say. Maybe DonH will chime in?
