Mystery Snails

They carry gold inside their shell, but only when they're alive. After they die it turns to algae. 
The mystery is found out the hard way, it can be summed up with the question, "Where the hell did all these flippen snails come from?"
Its like one day everything is nice and then all the sudden these snails just come out and multiply =)

i don't know buts it's a mystery why my planted tank had about 5 different species crop in the area of about 100 give or take
