Pump question, sequence vs. dolphin

yes so like the title says, i would like to know which is better a sequence or a dolphin ampmaster
they are both 1hp, saltwater compatible, 10.4 amp at 115v and around 420$
whats the difference?:confused:

Great question! I am looking for a answer also. I have a Sequence 750 on my 270 and I am looking into a pump for my 220. I'm curious to what the MFK's think. I think i can get a dolphin cheaper. So i want to know which is superior.

i prefer lil giant pumps or turbo sea corallifes.... i run 1.5HP pump on my pool so dont see why you need a pump that powerfull on a 220

well i will need even more powerful pumps for my 1000g saltwater system (3hp probably cause i will need lots of water movement)

make sure your overflows can handle the flow..... mine couldnt on my 220
