Tommorrow i start building my 1000 gallon tank. I have read many posts, and have been inspired and educated on building my amazon tank. It will be constructed of 2x6 framing, plywood, and 1/4 of fiberglass with 5 layers of gelcoat. The dimensions of the(inside) will be 106x48x48. The window is to be glass, the thickness of the glass is still up for debate. The whole process will be photographed and posted along the way. Any tips along the way will be helpful. Wish me luck!

my buddy and i just finished my 480 gal acrilyc and just the materials came out to almost 3k but that included building a 180 gal sump too.
