I thought I'd document the growth this time.

This is the second arapaima I am now growing for Ted (Anythingfish). He had 2 small ones to grow out one was 12" and I grew it to 22" in 3 months. The other at the time was 8" and skinny. Ryan (REC) decided to try growing it but he didn't feed it as much as I did. It was time to get the fish from him and it had been about 4.5 months since he got it at 8". I picked up from him at around 12-13" a couple of weeks ago and have been feeding it heavily. I was out of town last week so I didn't get to feed it as much but the fish is already about 15-16".

I thought I would post some pics to show the progress of the fish and see how fast it will grow with me. the bigger one is about 24-25" now. I want to see how fast I can grow these babies so they can go into Ted's 8000 Gallon :naughty:

Aside from Peacock Bass my favorite fish are the prehistoric ones. Arowanas & family, Gars, Bowfins, Sturgeon, Paddle Fish, etc etc.

How many gallons is that tank? I guess it doesn't matter if they are having such nice growth rates.
