do you ever see glow fish? the are dyed with phospherous dyes, so mean! doint buy glow fish!:banhim::nilly::nilly::help2::tropicalf

Glow fish are not dyed... it is a genetic mod that gives them the color.

They were made to help test water for certain types of contamination by splicing jelly fish DNA with Danio DNA.

The color is in the fatty tissue so when they are exposed to cetain chemicals they will change color.

get a bunch of them with a black light n that tank has to be the hottest tank ever... Loser monster fish that cnt glow in the dark

Jellies. I'm assuming its GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) or another variant.

Apparently scientists have even gone to pigs. Now thats what I want. Bacon that glows. lol
