Yo...

Ya may of noticed that there has been a lot of re-organisation going on this last day or so....Hopefully everyone is happy with the new condensed look / feel of the marine area as a whole so far....

Next thing on the agenda is stickies...

It would be good to people to post up in here any sticky suggestions for each marine area they might have and also any offers to write them up would be great too...

So, lets have them, all idea's will be concidered.....

I agree. To be honest maybe lay out the basic formula for FOWLR as far as how much rock per gallon, a little talk on skimmers and other questions that come up with people just getting into salt. To make it less intimidating, lay out the ground rules. Like a "New to Salt?" or "New to FOWLR?" FAQ.

Possibly someone who knows how to build a simple SW setup for cheap could put together a small setup on paper to show the cost involved for like a 55g tank. Might get people to realize that a simple salt setup might be doable on their budget.

Also saltwater fish acclimation sticky(think Oddball covered it in a fish acclimation sticky in General Aquaria Discussion or Buy/Sell but wouldn't hurt to have it here too.)

Also breakdown of lighting needs for Soft Coral, Anenomes, etc. As far as wattage/bulbs, other considerations. Perhaps even a Invertebrete FAQ..

ok heres a start, all the info you will ever need on a clown fish including genus and compatability with other species... http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-10/hcs3/index.php

here is a guide to help people id the most of the common hitchhikers........ http://home2.pacific.net.ph/~sweetyummy42/hitchhikers.html

here is a some good reading on what exactly a "clean up crew" is ........ http://home2.pacific.net.ph/~sweetyummy42/cleanupcrew.html

What were mainly after is actual articles to be pinned within MFK, rather than links off to another site...Keeps everything under our roof then...

What may be a good idea though is a "Helpfull Links" thread where people leave a good link to something and short description to what the link is all about...What do you think??
