Quick question about saltwater filters

is it possible to have a aquaclear filter for a saltwater tank? and also just so you know i plan on setting up a 5 gallon saltwater tank to learn so any tips and ideas would help THANKS!

you better off with a big tank like 29 or 30 gallon, small tank is to much work on saltwater. AquaClear filter it the best for both fresh or saltwater.

yeah i know but if you wants you can start off with african cichlid that the closest things you can get to saltwater.

stll a 20 gallon isn't THAT much more money....
but yes aquaclears are AWESOME in sw tanks i have 3...

yeah... add the rock first, then the sand, then pour the water into a bowl on the sand.. it'll saty WAY clearer..


umm.. don't get a damsel..

practice keeping salinity and such stable while the tank is cycling...

and get some pics for god's sake! lol

am i suppose to mix the salt and water in a bowl first then put it in a tank?
then add a filter?
i heard putting 2 raw shrimps in the tank for 10 days will make the ammonia level be at 0 can anyone conform this?
