Sorry to hear that bro. Guess you should have read my 3" Gulper eats 8" Aro thread lol! Seriously sorry for your loss! Gulpers rock, but they seem to have expensive tastes in fish. My Lei Aro cost me $130 and it totally sucked that he was eaten.

Crazy! If it happened to me, I don't know if I would be more upset, or amazed.

Trust me I read it. Before you posted that I had one eat the same size hybrid. I thought no way would he eat a 13 maybe even 14in. Black Arrowana. They had been together for 1month and half. I feed all my fish very well. I thought it would be physically impossible, but guess not. Thanks again.

UNREAL!!! So sorry to hear about that.
Well, this thread and koltsix's thread have made my decision easier...SPECIES TANK!!!
I have been debating on putting my gulpers in with my large aros, but my black is the same size as this one so I think that may be a bad idea to mix them.

you would think that after a gulper ate a lei a few months ago people would have learned from that
dont tell us your gulper was fine with other fish smaller
why take the risk in the 1st place
that poor aro must have been crapping its self the whole time it was being kept with the gulper
you must have know the gulpers rep that why you brought it in the 1st place isnt itTIGERS ARE BETTER THAN DATS
only dead fish go with the flow

Of course you would out of everyone be the one to talk crap. Why comment bro. I had 3 blacks in a 210 with these gulpers. Plenty of room. The gulpers were fine with the blacks for a month and a half. Never any attempt of eating the arrows. Also who said anything about keeping gulpers with smaller fish??? Then one night he ate one. There is a difference with one eating a lei that was bearly bigger then it. This arrowana was pushing 14in. The gulper is bearly 6in. I def wouldn't of thought it was physically possible. But I guess you know all and you would of known this was gone of happen right???

so you read the thread were the gulper ate a lei and you thought yours would for some reason be diffrent
why did you buy the gulper in the 1st place was it for it stunning good looks or that it can eat fish the same size if not bigger
their was always a risk this could happen so why are you so shocked
you took the gamble and lost
it maybe i am the only person to say what others are thinkingTIGERS ARE BETTER THAN DATS
only dead fish go with the flow
