Atm I have a Rena Xp1 I have plans on getting another filter in the next couple months. What would be the best thing to fill it with?
It has Some filter pads, A layer of carbon, some filter floss.

Should I replace the Carbon with something? If so what?
The tank has alot of plants and drift wood.
The stock is in my sig with 1 Uaru and 4 3/4" CL in it.

Also i am looking to get water test kit what is the best 1 to get?

For the test kit, I would recommend a Liquid test kit made buy wither Hagen or API. As for the filter I would recommend ditching the carbon and also adding some bio media like Bio Max...

I would use a use a 20 ppi foam sponge on the bottom with a 30 ppi foam sponge on top of that. The sponges will fill up half your basket, lay the divider on top the sponges and fill the rest of the basket with either biomax or ehfisubstrat.
