Hello, I just brought home a 125g tank and here is what I have to work with. (Cichlid tank) I have a undergravel system with two 802 powerheads (came out of my 55), a fluval fx5, and two AC 110. Should I run all of it or can I get away with the undergravel system and the Fluvel fx5? Thanks, T

I would say the FX5 would do the job

i would run the AC110s and the fx5 and ditch the UGF

well i have a 125 with 10-piranhas, and i run 2 ac110 and a fx5. so depending on your stock will determine how much you should filter.

all you need is the fx5 its runs like 900GPH if i remember right
and the under-gravel if you want

your right!!
but IMO, undergravle filters are worthless. use the 2 ac110 to cerculate the middle of the 125 and use the fx5 to cerculate the sides.

thats why i said if he wants lol
but a powerhead could push water to where the fx5 collects and he could turn around and sell the extra filters
and less wattage with that
