So it's possible that a 1/2 dozen Gulpers could eat 90 jumbo shrimp every few days??

that was an extreme case. He didn't eat for nearly a week and a half after that. They only get 2 or 3 every 2-3 days

How often are their feedings?

Mine are fed every two days. They can get expensive, but I'm spending over $100 a month to feed my fish anyway, so it's not too big of an increase.
