Hey guys. I've been doing a lot of water changes lately to get my tank back on track. I had a bit of a disease problem, but after several 50% water changes and finally a 70% change it seems to have gone away. I also cleaned out both my filters. Believe it or not, I'm a little concerned that my water isn't cloudy. After each water change, the water would become minimally cloudy, barely at all, and it would be crystal clear the next day. I don't think the bacteria in my filters could have survived such a cleaning, but why hasn't my tank been cloudy with new beneficial bacteria?

As long as you used prime, the bb probably made it...Sounds like you caught up to the bioload to me...

So the bb might be in the substrate. Sounds good to me, I certainly don't mind if my tank is clear. Hopefully things work out for the best. Thanks for your replies.
