i plan on setting up a new tank with the following On Electric blue jack dempesy (hopefully a male) and one female jack dempesy, i have a few question before i go and buy the tank substrate and what not. i do plan on making this an EBJD breeding project.

Question 1) is there any kind of dither fish i could add to the tank? if so please give me ideas

Question 2) what size tank is best? 40 gallon or 55gallon?

Question 3) what substrate would be best?

Question 4) what kind of decorations should i add to the tank? im going to use 2 flower pots at each end of the tank but anything else?

Thanks for the help, im sorry i had all these questions but i want to make sure i have everything right before i start.

you could use sand, gravel or bare bottom tank doesn't matter. you could use drift wood, rocks, both or none. doesn't matter. live plants, fake plants. set the tank up the way you want it set up. as long as the water temp is right and the filtration is good it doesn't matter what kind of decor you have.
