Also The XP3 and Marineland C220 are all around the same price. So out of those 4 what would you go with?

Thanks again

How big is your tank?

I recommend the Eheim Classic 2217 for it's volume or the Rena Filstar xP3 for ease of use and features. I have both and they are both fine filters but if pressed I would choose the xP3 (up to 75G) unless it is a larger tank with a lot of waste (90G or more with several big fish).

Its a 75g, well stocked. I talked my landlord into letting me fill it all the way so Im keeping my AC500 and it also has a cascade 600 internal. Im replacing my XP1.
I would go with the 2217 but I dont have the extra $50 (see aviator)

I have both the 2217 and the xP3. Although the 2217 is absolutely silent, I prefer the xP3. I find it much easier to clean and maintain and it is pretty darn quiet too.

the classic,
i love the way it filters and how the water does not mix.
just make sure you get the taps, make it real easy to clean.

can not beat the classic design

Eheim 2217 online can be had for $100. They are much cheaper than most of the filters you listed.
