Due to the odd shape of my 175 gallon tank the biggest tank I can fit in the stand is a 29 gallon 30x12x18. How much is this going to limit the stocking of the 175? the fish are currently happy in my 55g with a aquaclear 300 and UGF and I'm probibly going to add 2 more 4" black crappie when ever my daughter catches some little ones. Right now I have a 5" Black Crappie, 5" bluegill, 3" pumpkinseed, 3 2" bluegills, and a crawfish. (been stocked with these for over a year) I'm going to release the 5" bluegill into my pond once I get a few more black crappie. The tank is getting setup with the sump return line hooked to a few spraybars and a reverse UGF made out of 1/2" pvc with ~100 1/8" holes drilled in it. I have an oversized 1.5" return and a pump that will move about 450 gallons at the height it needs to pump.

You should be ok with those plans in that configuration. If you add to the bio-load you may have to add a large HOB or a canister for more mechanical filtering.

Any plants?

It was a pity the pix didn't come thru ;), try again :D.
