with wet/drys do you have to buy a pump, or do they make kits with everything?
i was looking at the ones on Dr.F&S

you have to buy a pump that will return the water back to your aquarium. an overflow is what will bring water to a wet/dry filter.

For that tiny wet/dry filter, it would fit in your 30g, but I would go with an HOB filter for you tank. But since you are upgrading, don't bother with that little wet/dry filter.

if you dont have fish in your 30g, then I would transform that into a wet/dry filter. it will need a pump, overflow, some baffles (dividers), bio balls, hoses, etc... almost all wet/dry filters that are already built come with everything except a pump.

you need to size a pump to your tank (overflow GPH... total head hight etc...) for a 75 i would just get a good canister filter or 2....
