What's the general consensus on the best filter fiber or pad for the sump drip tray? i have been using the blue and white stuff from petsmart but i just feel that i can get better clarity. thanks!

the bonded pad is one of the best imo.... put filter floss right under the drip tray for some polishing...

1 layer and blue side down.... you can get quilt batting at walmart chompers is testing the fire retardent in it with no neg effect and put that over your bio media under the drip tray... cheap and alot better than doubling them up...

so fire retardent quilt batting? wal-mart is 24 hrs and i am 4 beers into boredom...haha!!

the filter floss we buy in stores does not have this but same product at walmart does... chompers is having no neg effects from this stuff.. he has controlled settings... but yea quilt batting is what you would be looking for... might i sudjest hanging on here and not driving wit 4 beers in ya ;) dont wanna see a mfker get a dui while buying quilt batting for his fish tank.....

walmart is literally a mile from here and i bartend (get paid to drink ;)) for a living so its ok but thanks for the concern.:D you're probably right though, no need tonight. its pretty nice out here by the pond anywho.
