Hi all!
I was an naive fish shopper. I was sold a beautiful 3" black fin shark (catfish) about 2 1/2 years ago. Ricky has grown into an even more gorgeous shark, now about 11" in length. I love him dearly, but after doing the research I should have done before the purchase, I realize my 60 gallon freshwater tank is not the proper environment for him. I would like someone local (San Diego, CA) to come by and offer him a new home. He currently eats shrimp pellets (and any long skinny fish I happen to put in the tank, plus a tiger barb or two).
I figured this site with people who love their fish and have LARGE aquariums would be able to offer information on placement or would like to adopt him.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't want to stifle him any longer than I have to.
