I have a 2 feet tank (17gallon), intending to set up a heavily planted tank, housing with shrimp..
Which filter is good for me?
I am interested with eheim canister filter but not sure which model

An Eheim canister would be a good choice. If you are only keeping a few shrimps then just go with the recommendations of the manufacturer with regards to tank size. If you are thinking of putting more fish in later though then get the next model up.

The only problem with an aquaclear would be if you were wanting to run a co2 system. the co2 usage would rise drastically with an aquaclear. otherwise also a good choice
