.....for a 350 litre tank!

Quiet ones!

The current pump on this tank is now 'clacking' so loudly I can't hear the TV, (or sleep the other side of the house), unless I wrap it in several towels. :irked: And it is less than a year old so one that stays quiet for more than a few months would be great....

Check out Air Pod from Penn Plax, there really quiet and a good, reliable air pump.

just curious as to what it is for?

you could just not have an airpump in most cases.

The tank has the filter outlet through the bottom of the tank and it only reaches half way up so no chance of any surface agitation without major alterations.
With the temperature at 82 and two Oscars involved I figure an air pump is required.
