Anybody here keep them? I'm normally a reptile keeper, but I've been looking into inverts lately, such as tarantulas, scorpions, centipedes, etc. So I thought, "hey, why not crabs?" I saw a few moon crabs for sale at a reptile expo last year and they looked pretty spunky. I assume they're relatively easy to care for? I've kept hermits and small fiddlers before when I was a kid, so moon crabs seem like a fun little project. How long do crabs live anyway? I have absolutely no clue, but apperently most people's pet crabs die from bad care anyway.

If you have them, please share your experiences and pics! Thanks!

I have kept them for a while, I have small water bowl so they can keep ther gills wet. Must feed food with calcium added. I read that cuttlefish bones are recommended. Excape artist, be aware.

Well are they fun? I figured they were pretty easy. Any idea on how long they live?
