Hi

I was moving my new emtpy 150g to my room. It took 6 people to do that. After is was put in its place I noticed a crack on the top left corner of the front glass. LOL I dont know how it happened in the move but it did got cracked.

I have filled it half and put my two 16inch giant gouramis as adviced my a person here. Also I put 20 to 30 tilapia in it so that if the giants want to can eat them. I have 4 clown knife that I wanted to return to the lfs but with no luck. How to get rid of them?

Thanks.

These are the crack pics. Also the knife fish, two have black spots like in the pic and two are different with no spots and different mouth shape. Also the smallest and biggest tilapia.

I wouldn't even bother filling it.. It's gong to fail so you might as well return the tank to the place that made it and make them replace it.
:iagree:

It was made in my home by a the lfs who is my friend. I ask him and a fish breeder who has 4 similar size aquarium and they both said it wont fail. I honestly dont know what to do so I trusted what he said and filled it to 12inches, it is 24inches tall.

how thick is that glass? in the full tank shot, it looks thinner than what is normally used in 150's that are 48x24x30..

might be why it cracked.. I was just thinking that 1/2 thick glass (what is typically used on tanks that big) is pretty tough to crack when the tank is empty..its very strong stuff..
