I just finnished setting it up last night. 40 pounds of live sand and about 20 pounds of live rock. Im using a fluval 305 canister with a diy dual intake and overflow and dual directional returns. The back and the intakes were painted blue with krylon fusion paint. Im planing on adding another 10 pounds of rock and some rubble rock to the canister for bio. Let me know what you think so far. This is going to be a FOWLR for now.

that looks like less then 20 lbs even. understanding your tank is taller but still looks like a lot less. anways id suggest geting around 40 total lbs, this will add for a better look and i think you'll like it more.

BIGgourami, it reads 40 lbs of live sand, and 20 of live rock.

When using a FOWLR I suggest shopping around for the nicest looking rock you can find, since you'll be staring at it and the fish rather than corals and etc.
:nilly: iiiiiiii'm dumb
