Hey I just purchesed this gar and the LFS told me the purchesed it as a asian alligator gar but they are not surre can anyone help please? Thanks

HAHA I knew this would be a florida/spotted ID before I even clicked on it. There are SO many common names for these fish it's not even funny.

3 bucks is an awesome deal though. They are great fish.

yeah the guy also told me its a marble line gar and there is no such thing....... When i picked him up I also got a Giant gourami, tiger shovelnose, lima shovelnose, a couple rays, and 4 albino channel cats........ all for under 60 dollars hahaha
