Can anyone identify these mbunas? They are a breeding pair and breed like crazy! The darker one is the female. They have had somewhere around 50-60 fry. The male is about 4 inches while the female is barely 3 inches. Any help would be appreciated.

They are a Melanochromis johannii type.
Commercially bred and sold "johannii" are hybrids among the several johannii types (M. johannii, M. cyanoerhabdos and M. interruptus). I've seen Pseudotropheus elongatus thrown into that mix as well.

They were sold to me out of the mixed tank but after i researched a bit my first thought was they were some kind of johanni. Maybe even some weird crossbread. Anyways thanks for the help. I just wanted to kno because i have so many fry!
