somewhere over here
i have a 300gal with a 10' aro 2 plecos and
2 4' oscars
i can only find dats that are about 2-3'
can they survive with the oscars, b/c i
figure they wont be able to fight for food
or my get punked out by my oscars
also my oscars are growing fast
and is three a good number of dats to
start out with?
really want to get dats

it can be done. doesn't always work out though in the long run because of the difference in growth rates

I would worry about the growth rates as well.

my oscar beat my dat up quite badly (dat was there first!) so i wouldn't do it but that's just my opinion, also as said oscars grow alot faster than dats

Completely agree with bitter on this one,get rid and get some dats, they end up roughly the same size but i would sooner have dats than oscars

Cheers steve
