Here is what I want: A colorful and attractive mix of Cichlids with a few Bottom feeders.

So lets start with 2 Males and 3 Females of the Electric Yellow Labs.
Lets add Something black and white striped to add contrast.
Now lets drop in the same mix of an Electric Blue Cichlid that will grow to about 4 inches.

Add some colorful bottom feeders (ones that do not hide all day)

So, please someone give me the names of what I want.
Blue = ?
Black and White = ?
Bottom Feeders = ?

I really do not care about the price and I am willing to start with 1" size fish, but lets try and keep the fish below $30.00 each

I just want a very interesting tank. If you have any suggestions I am asking for them.

I really do not want fish that grow larger than about 4" each.

Should have lots of flat rocks, smooth rocks and wide open caves.

Help me build an exciting community

research syno. catfish. i know some get really large, but i would go with syno. petricola. they are very pretty (gray with black spots) and only get 3 1/2 to 4 inches long-one of the smaller syno cats. you could get 2.

found this for ya: http://www.scotcat.com/factsheets/s_petricola.htm

i love yellow labs-they will really do well. that flavus is just beautiful! ive never seen one in life but they should be compatible. is that blue and yellow a pseudotropheus acei? i have a few acei in my 180-they do best in groups and can get a little on the large side, but a few should be okay-they are beautiful fish.

also, if youre looking for blues and yellows look up saulosi's. they are a dwarf species-females are yellow, males are a bright blue. they are one of my favorite fish.
