ID this gar please!

he guys,
i really want a spotted gar,
the lepisosteus ocelatus.
i was in a lokale fish shop this afternoon, and spotted these 2 type of gars. i didnt buy them because i was affraid that they were alligators (Atractosteus spatula), and i dont want a alligator.
the told this was a Atractosteus spatula,

this is the one i am talkin about











furthermore they also had this kind of gar,
which they sold als spotted gar, lepisosteus ocelatus
i dont know what it really is

any idea what these guys are?

Now im not really good at iding but
i believe the first is gator gar
second is maybe a florida?pics are real clear but it looks like it, though the nose seems awfully long. hmm yes seems very long.....
feel free to correct me.

this is correct. first one is definitely an alligator gar, second one is very likely a Florida/spotted gar. if you're interested in a spotted gar, go with the second fish. good luck--
