What kind?

I give mine live Blood when it is avail. I would probally not used Night Crawlers since they are full of poo and could foul the water. I have experence w/crawlers and some Oscars that made a mess.

i was told not to feed them live worms because they're stomach can't digest them, i like to use worms for the growth
Frontosa should not have too much protein ...i would try to give pellets which are a mix of everything they need... sinking ones since floating is not good for fronts.. they suck in air etc.. and too much protein causes bloat..

Most worms can be fed to Frontosa........people have alot of success with nightcrawlers, but I haven't tried it. They are high in protein, will increase growth in juvies and induce spawning in adults.
With juvies, chop them up and feed them.
Blood worms will increase growth in juvies. Stay away from Tubiflex worms as they are more likely to carry pathogens and disease.

I would recommend this as an occassional treat and not a staple.
As a staple they should be fed a pellet as stated by Red Devil.
