I have a bunch of peacock cichlids, I breed as a hobby, seems these days I see so many of the same thing at the LFS's around town. (blue neons, taiwan steveni, blood peacock, steveni solid barred, trimitichromis etc etc)what are some rare or hard to find, beautifull peacocks? I was wondering if thre are very rare versions of aulonocara freibergi or baenschi as they seem to be some of the most beautifull I have seen. I dont want somthing all my friends have as I have may friends into rift lake cichlids, and I have a pretty large and common group already.

You could also contact a good online seller and purchase some great wild caught fish. A place that carried wild caught fish might also be able to obtain species that are harder to find...

Aulonocara Chitande Type North "Nkhata Bay" is a fairly rare peacock as well as the Aulonocara Mkondowe. Pecocks aren't all that rare I guess. Aulonocara Ethylwynnae is seldom seen in the hobby and is beautiful as well.
