A buddy of mine is getting out of the hobby and gave me a bunch of free food. My tank is a mixed malawi tank consisting of Haps, peacocks and Mbuna.

He gave me a bunch of stuff, but the list below is what i am unsure about:
Wardley Shrimp Pellets
Hikari Bio Gold+ (for carnivorous cichlids)
Freeze dried blood worms
Freeze dried Krill bits
Frozen Cichlid Growth Cubes (for carnivorous cichlids)

Most Africans are omnivores and needs a good amount of vegetation in their diet, without it they will have digestive problems and can even get malawi bloat. For some of the predator haps it would be OK. The only way you could feed this is if you also feed them a large mount (around 50% of their diet) of food made purely from plant matter like spirilla flakes. Look at the ingredients though it might say algae pellets but it might have 50%+ fish meal in it.

On a regular basis prior to getting this stuff I was feeding Nutrafin Max, Nutrafin Spirulina, Tetra Cichlid Flakes, Tetra Tropical Granules and Hai Feng Tropical Gold. Should I even bother mixing some of this stuff into their diet?
